Here in Texas all shoots go to the Grand Jury, we let a jury of your peers decide if you did anything wrong. We find that system works much better than leaving it up to the cops or DAs, who in this case are democrats who support the notion of sanctuary cities and who refuse to see BLM or klantifas as criminals.

Unless this is a drug deal gone bad or some other sordid tale the Grand jury will not charge him with anything.

That said the area where this occurred has been a violent gang confrontation zone, and growing more so. Hispanics and blacks and meth-heads are heavily represented there. Just saying, this may not have a back story but most times there is 'something' going on.

I see some folks misrepresenting our Grand Juries here. The homeowner will not be charged with a crime unless there IS a criminal back story. It is not illegal to shoot people down here, as long as they need to be shot. In Texas they do need to be shot if they attack you on your property, but we do send it to the Grand Jury. We WANT our peers deciding if the shoot was justified, not the cops or DAs who yeah, might be biased against America/Freedom/Texas.

The thing is we lost the County to the Dems last cycle, and the Sheriff is a leftist moron, as are the HPD officers and the DAs. But this is County, they almost never push charges on this kind of a shoot unless there is a serious back story.

You’re only pointing out why people are apprehensive to protect themselves. No grand jury at all or the law is useless! It’s already been determined by the cops that this was a home invasion, else the man would have been arrested. This shit is cut and dried. Turning it over to a group of individuals after the fact only opens the window to this man being roped into the system for protecting himself. Either you get arrested on the spot or your free to go on the spot. No more, we’ll decide if you should have protected your castle from intruders.

I think you ought to raise your sights, seems like you aim way low with that.

The Grand Jury protects you from corrupt police. You say the cops already determined....well no they did an initial report but do not yet have the facts in hand, all the evidences examined. Same in every case, you don't know what you don't know until you look closer. It is not cut and dried as you would argue, the cops do not know if the dead guys were associates of the homeowner, they do not know if the guys were dealing drugs or involved in some feud, the things they do not know are near limitless.

You demand people be arrested on the spot...? Damn generous of you, plz stay out of muh Texas.

But have a Merry Christmas.

Yes, merry Christmas to you as well.

My point stands. There is nothing in the history of these people which would prevent the homeowner from killing a group of 3 intruders. Say they had a bad drug deal last week and this was some sort of retribution. How would that play a role in the man’s ability to protect himself within his own home? They broke in, came armed and tried to do harm. In my mind that’s all that matters. Again, let me make my point. The furthering of scrutiny by the law in these particular cases is why people are apprehensive to protect themselves and their property. Hell, if he hadn’t killed them, they could come back and sue the victim. Yet another reason people won’t do what’s right in this world. I’m not advocating for the removal of the grand jury system, but limitations on their scrutiny upon victims. If the man wasn’t arrested for a clear violation of the law then there should be no further investigations. That’s all I’m saying.

You don't know any of that, you assume it all.

Have whatever reason you wish as an excuse for your own demons, no one c ares. But we as a Texas Society will exert care to not assume serious matters.....which is why we send all shoots to the Grand Jury. A Grand Jury is much closer to a jury of your peers than is an LE team investigating something, or media money-shots not describing the story, or a person's knee-jerk desire to dictate.

Plz stay out of muh Texas.
