They will be hoping to have their access media monkeys try and make the public believe that it's not right for trump to nominate a new person now that impeachment was attempted...or something. Whatever bullshit reason, it will be baseless and stupid, but that's what they'll do, hoping it turns the public against trump.

But they fail to realize all their plans are fucking stupid and never work.
