I hate this so much. They claim they want to solve a problem like incarcerations of blacks, but then refuse to look at data critically, and provide no solutions because they can’t even yield that there is a problem. Minorities in just about every culture commit more crimes, but why? It doesn’t need to be a racist thing, i personally think it’s due to shit public schools, welfare disincentivizing being a decent human being, the penal system oppression, collapse of family structure, even sure, maybe direct racism by majority class. But we can’t even acknowledge facts that we could use to improve both minority and all other citizens by objectively looking at the issue and figuring out ways to address it. Instead they just close their ears to anything that makes them feel bad because of course they would rather feel good about themselves than make an attempt at anything resembling an actual solution
