Guys, I think it's time for the guilt ridden Democrats to get their way. I propose we give the southern half of California to Mexico and build a big beautiful wall around it. It seems to be the right thing to do.
California can turn red again and we can reallocate the representatives to the Midwest. Sure, we might lose out on some revenue from Hollywood, but it can boost the economy of Mexico and reduce the lure of the US, not to mention the deficit of the state of California. Am I missing anything?
Fantastic idea. I am not sure that Southern California is revenue positive anyway.
Keep SoCal, but treat it as a U.S. territory rather than a state until all illegals are removed. This means no representation in Congress, no voting in U.S. federal elections, and no electors in the Electoral College. Once the illegals are gone and the state shows some sanity in terms of its elected officials, it can petition to rejoin the union. Failing that, it can be invaded and occupied until it is brought to order.
I thought they already annexed it?
