A beautiful warm day in Florida. Just another day I woke up and thanked the Good Lord I was born an American and not born a liberal. Thank you immigrant Dad!
Had to escape the South, pedes. Feel like a turncloak after decades growing up in Texas but that horrible, horrible neverending Sun, cooking my brains and blasting me like a furnace every time I opened the front door, ( I could go on. Want me to go on?) so bright I could make out the shapes of objects outside through my closed eyelids (I was down there a long time...) sweat soup pouring down my backside like a sticky, horrible waterfall every time I scurried from door to car as quickly as possible ( a long time...) like I was a roach in a microwave but the microwave was "everything that is outside"!
Anyways, I miss how friendly everyone is in rural Texas. West Coast "freeze" is just a euphemism for "they're all rude, pretentious dickheads who think they're the center of the fucking universe, get dressed up like theyre on a catwalk to go grocery shopping and treat everyone around them as an extra in the Movie of Me!"
I totally understand! It's miserable in Louisiana pretty much 10-11 months out of the year. Hot and humid, so humid that even if it's sixty, the humidity makes it feel eighty five.
Glad you escaped to better weather, but sorry that the people aren't very friendly. I'd love to visit Texas though. ??
Same, in Louisiana. ??? Merry Christmas!
Wow, that sounds like awesome fun, Pede! So glad you had a good time. And Merry Christmas to you as well!
