Good stuff. Love these longer, more thought provoking posts. Too many times I'm just in fruit fly mode...skimming titles and "clickin da clicker". Upvote, Upvote, Upvote, skip...
So, this is the first paragraph from each chapter I take it? Lovely.
Believe it or not, we live in a wonderland of information. Free, unbridled (or, barely 'bridled') access to scientific studies that may be the difference between life and death for some of us (if we can't afford Healthcare and the treatment you get at the ER ((been there, done that)) is, shall we say, less than ideal) 200 dollar 'Springier textbooks for those with 'cool' professors or just restless, curious minds in search of knowledge, and near endless political and cultural treaties that would never, ever make it to the top of the NY Times Bestseller list (as its rigged and 'edited' and a list of the NOT editors' favorite leftist books, not a truthful list of national bestsellers!)
Point being, here are some pertinent keywords for LibGen and other P2P sites dedicated to the unlimited sharing of legal knowledge. Yes, pedes, P2P can and, in assumes, (ocassionally) is used to share noncopyrighted works between peers. But, that's neither here nor there. I would never, ever 'pirate' (such a dirty word) something I hadn't already bought but can understand when some poor urchin without 10 dollars to their name DOs a few dozen dollars worth of educational material. The publishers aren't losing money there as he/she never had any intention of buying the materials and etc. I'm rambling and delirious from too much turkey and the blood rushing to my stomach. Here! A keyword search!! The gold...is in...the.....
