My sneaking suspicion is this hipster generation was poisoned by their hippie grandparents, against this nation and all that support it.

Their grandkids are spouting the same garbage, pitting American against American, just like they did when they nearly tore the nation apart in the 60s.
Maybe, I see the verbiage change but the sentiments always the same. Youngsters always hate on the older generation. I think the difference now is they have social media platforms to do it on which leads to a lot of group think and hate mobs. Used to just be the emo kids at the park in their little groups of 4 or 5. Now its thousands on Twitter spawning doxxing campaigns.
The fix is the same though. Either ignore the petulant children int he hopes they grow up or punish them for their bad behavior. The media seem to instead glamorize it or prop it up higher than it really is because it drives a narrative they can exploit for profit.
They are a sizable demographic and are pandered to, like boomers before them. It is good business sense, but it also emboldens groups to act out and attempt to reshape society in their image. The ones that speak out, get stomped on via social media.
The biggest fear this twenty something generation has, is being doxxed as supporting traditional American values, national pride, personal responsibility and professional integrity.
Lying and deceitfulness is considered a skill set to that generation. Ask any mental health professional.
They blame everyone else for anything wrong, my friends see lines of patients like them every day, seeking Rxs to remain numb on ADHD meds and wired on Adderal for work and play.
