This hits really close to home. I am a Virginian and have lived in Richmond a good portion of my life. I am a father of two in a middle class neighborhood within the city limits. The city over the past six months has been on a mission to take my children and send them to one of the worst, facilities and educationally, elementary schools in the city. They say our current elementary school isn’t diverse enough (the study they use says its 51%black) and it assumes automatically that black=poor.
Recently I went to a redistricting meeting to speak as a parent. Out of 100 people I was th only one that said I would move. EVERY SINGLE white person that spoke was either a teacher or a downright white apologist. They all said that the lines weren’t “fair” and it was time to end the inequality. The blacks that spoke spoke of racists who drew the old lines to segregate the communities. They called for statues to be taken down. They called for redistribution of education. I couldn’t believe my ears. I sat dumbfounded that these people would call me racist and rich. That they were teaching their children that it was my fault they were poor and uneducated. I always knew that they were out there but the numbers of white people willing to lay down and take an economic ass fucking and the hate of the black neighborhood for my neighbors astounded me. I worked hard on my house with my own hands. They dare kill my dream? I told the school board at the end of my speech that this is the ultimate economic betrayal of my family.
At the end of the night the board voted not to vote on any of the proposals. In the end I was the only one that got what I wanted but for how long?
After reading this I wonder where is safe to move my family because I won’t take this BS? Thanks for reading God bless all of you! See some of you at the rally 1/20/20 where we have to actually stand up for something that’s written in stone in our founding documents.

Thank you for speaking the truth. People are probably too afraid to speak up, but they listen.

I’ve not been to many pubic forums and definitely not a public speaker but I did it for my family and their future.

This why racial diversity always ends in collapse, bloodshed and violence. If the US was still 90%+ white, we'd never hear of such issues. Blacks are mandated to have access to white people while white people have no choice.

Diversity plus proximity equals violence.
