"In a bizarre criticism later in the media availability, Trump complained about a new air conditioning system he said was installed in the West Wing during the Obama administration."

"It was so good before they did the system," said Trump, who would not have worked in the West Wing with the old system. "Now that they did the system, it’s freezing or hot in here."

I don't know what's so bizarre about this comment. DJT is a builder, and he would pay attention to what people say about the workings of the various subsystems of his office. He comment shows that he knows that the contract for work on the West Wing was not properly monitored or fulfilled.

Obama's only clue about running the government was to put political operatives in the high spots in the Executive agencies and use them against anybody they decided they did not like. They apparently did this to the exclusion of their actual job responsibilities, and it shows.

or, the new air con system was all about proper monitoring.

This article doesn’t even mention the Common Core contract.

Ding Ding Ding.

These Republicans are crazy, lots of Presidents get book deals.

Then they leave off the part that makes it suspicious.

I’m not surprised so many people have TDS, they’ve been constantly lied to by the media, FOR YEARS.

I work with someone who hates Trump, so we avoid discussing politics at work. But the Mueller report came up the other day, and she swore blind that it found Trump colluded with Russia. She believes that 100%.

Was that even known about last July, when the article was published?

I ask bc I've only recently found out about it - but perhaps I missed it all these months.

It must have been, because Obama made the deal and printed the books prior to November 2016. You can’t really keep book publishers a secret.

True, and I phrased my Q poorly. How long has it been known that 0's ridiculous book deal was made by same publishers who developed & printed the common core books? That's what I just recently found out about.

I think the information on both deals has been public for a long time, but of course the media were too busy pushing the Russian conspiracy hoax to bother telling you about a genuine abuse of power. And of course to say anything bad about Obama is just racism, obviously.

What is the typical payout for a blockbuster book deal? Like a Steven King or the like?

Book publisher with juicy contract.

Lot's of room for a reciprocal back-scratch. Just a hunch, mind you.

Just so you all know, in order to justify a $65 million advance of a book deal, the publisher would have to expect to sell about 30 to 35 million books. Just for comparison, I will list some books and their total sales.

Fahrenheit 451 - 10 million books sold

A Brief History of Time - 10 million sold

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - 16 million sold

Curious George - 27 million sold

Cat in the Hat - 10.5 million sold

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - 20 million sold

and then we have the original Hunger games....29 million sold.

Now, does anyone in their right mind, think its even remotely possible that Obamas book would be more read than Hunger games?

Literally half of all Obama voters will have to buy his book. HALF! What are the odds of that?

Cool. And Obuttfck's money laundering benefits are not outside the norm. Trump is right on the money. As usual.

Now that we know the name we can proudly say it's a Quid Pro Quo; or just bribery…
