Quarantine all Islamic states. Prevent their travel. Send all of them back. Problem solved.

As far as I'm concerned, the Middle East is at war with everyone, including itself. It doesn't need America's help destabilizing the region as it's more than happy to wage war against Sunni's, Shiites, and whatever it chooses to delineate between each other. It's clear that their main problem is Wahhabism, and it would be most wise to heavily vet any incoming "refugees" to ensure they don't continue to spread this toxic ideology.

Most of these Muslim dominant countries have refused to separate religion from state as the rest of the civilized world has, and it should be up to them to decide whether they would rather live under the tyrannical authoritarianism imposed by their leaders or a proper democracy governed by the people, not the few. Monarchs don't typically last all too long, but by interfering in the region, America is inherently culpable in their longevity. Left to their own devices, they will iron out their own issues as the West has learned to do since as early as the French Revolution.

Never was a fan of the Military Industrial Complex and their freakish boner for regime change, anyway. They've also played a part in the region's general hatred for the West (though Muslims are also even at war with Buddhists, so clearly it's not the cause of the problem, though it certainly exacerbated it), and I'm pretty sure most of us can agree that it's genuinely not America's business for the most part. So, yeah. Prolly time to gtfo.

Ok, so you’re suggestion is what was becoming the trend. Israel sees the writing on the wall that the tenuous grasp on “peace” for oil is coming to and end. They ramp up preparedness to fight their enemy with full force as help might be non-existent. They tell the world, “we’re preparing for war and we have 300 nuclear war heads mother fuckers”. This reminds America that we have been the hand in preventing Israel from clearing large swaths of sand with real force. If we help on at least one front, we may prevent nuclear war as Iran gets closer and closer to having enough firepower to become a true player in the Middle East. These attacks by Trump are music to the ears of anyone who understands this fact. That being said, we can do this without the troops on the ground, drawn out, deep state war that has plagued our young men and women in the past. If we don’t do something, Israel will be forced to play a much bigger hand which could hurt the global economic stability at a time when Trump needs it for re-election.

Well, only Israel has nukes so it would be a massacre nearly all one sided.

This is a short-sighted, knee-jerk reaction. You need to see the long-term, strategic view of the situation. If we leave, they will fall into the waiting arms of China, who will use them to keep propping up their despotism. Every country we control starves China of the same. The more control we exert over the Middle East, the more we can influence them. The more we influence them, the more we can bend them to our will. That's what this is all about. That's why Trump is so ready to make peace with our enemies and shit all over our historic allies. It all serves to increase our control.

I see you went to the Neville Chamberlain school of foreign relations. They want us to leave you dolt.

As for the issue in China, it isn't about the Uyghurs being Muslim, it's about them not being Chinese Communists. They'd throw your ass right in there with them if you didn't toe the line.

Stop spewing your retardation everywhere you isolationist clown. You don't get to just hide and have nothing happen to you because you took your ball and went home. The likes of China and other countries are not content with just leaving us be. They want global hegemony, and we're the thing standing in their way. They will come after us wherever they can.

We should pullout all of our troops and resources from any islamic state. Then use bunker bombs to destroy every oil well in these countries. Let them burn, and all the leverage from these places are gone. Israel would be able to solve all the problems at that point. Why would ANY other country try to assist them once they cant use the oil?

kogar 28 points ago +29 / -1

This is going to get complicated real quick. Iran has been infiltrating Iraq over the last 10+ years due to the power vacuum. Seriously, it’s bad. https://theintercept.com/2019/11/18/iran-iraq-spy-cables/

15
fthecoup 15 points ago +21 / -6

Please, Mr. President, do NOT fall for this bullshit. It is not Iranians attacking the Baghdad embassy -- it is Iraqis. Get our people OUT OF IRAQ . You've got US off the middle east oil teet, now get US the F--- out of there!!!

American mercenaries masquerading as Iranians/Iran supporters attack American embassy in Baghdad.

0
washmyvania 0 points ago +1 / -1

They will get their war against Iran, one way or the other. Americans and Iranians will bleed all so the wealthy and powerful can become more wealthy and powerful. Then we can install a central bank in Iran and introduce them to the wonders of transgender children, abolition of the family, and vulture capitalism. They hate us for our freedoms!

I am really hoping that Russia and China are telling America/Israel that Amerisrael shall not do Iran.

MassTexodous 18 points ago +18 / -0

My opinion has been, for the last few years, to vacate the Middle East entirely - withdraw all personnel and cut all financial ties. Eliminate any dependence on their crude and force them to cut deals with the Chinese. Let them be China's problem. When they try to pull the same shit they do with us with China, the Chicoms won't hold back and don't observe the Geneva Convention. Those fuckers would either be speaking Mandarin or be piles of Ash. They would cry out for help, and we'd turn our back on them. Fuck them all to hell

ProudAmerican 1 point ago +4 / -3

Your point is exactly why the tenor of the situation has changed. Without American interest in keeping peace for oil, Israel is seeing the possibility of being left alone with sand people on 4 sides. They have a serious arsenal and would be forced to use it. This would destabilize Trump’s economy at a time when he is looking for re-election. This is why he has willingly stepped up to the plate at a time when we want to minimize efforts in the region. The alternative is a much bigger issue for the world. It also sends a message that we can fuck you up at any time and for any reason.

8
fthecoup 8 points ago +9 / -1

The 1947 decision to place Israel where it is was an excellent idea that is working out well. And, somehow the American taxpayer is footing the entire bill. Sweet.

8
Wearyman 8 points ago +10 / -2

Last I checked those were the ancestral lands of Israel granted to them by God. it wasn't until He sent them into exile after Christ that they were removed. Allowing them to take back their own lands is not "placing" anyone anywhere.

Remember too that they fought for those lands in the 50's. When America was experiencing it's greatest peacetime Israel was fighting for their lives with leftover WW2 equipment against the Muslims, and absolutely obliterated them. The only reason that Israel isn't MOST of the landmass over there is because WE stepped in and forced them to give almost all of it back!

We should have just let the Israeli's keep it all, things would be more peaceful there now.

4
MassTexodous 4 points ago +5 / -1

Israel can handle itself, especially if they want to remain there. It's a fate they've accepted by holding on to it.

2
ProudAmerican 2 points ago +4 / -2

Yes, they are willing and able to handle themselves. It will destabilize the region and hurt Trump’s economy. He can’t have that right now so it’s easiest to throw down some thumps on those who have attacked wherever they exist.

I’m not sure how you come to that assessment, but let me point out that for decades international pressure handcuffed Israel from fucking up their enemies to keep the oil flowing. We asked them to stand down as bombs, missiles, fire balloons, tunnels and killings were being fomented against them. Now that they are ready to clean house, Trump is asking them once again to let us be the mediator to keep his economy stable. So if anything, oil kept them held hostage for decades and now our economy is holding them hostage once again. Israel has taken a very rational approach with Muslims, but it isn’t working. They also can’t keep holding off which means war is coming. Trump is doing what’s good for Trump.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +4 / -4

Are you retarded? The Israelis have had no problem footing the manpower and material for decades. If anything, they've been pretty adamant about us staying out of their business. Hell, it was the US that orchestrated the loss of Sinai to Egypt after the Yom Kippur War even though Israel dropped a big ol deuce on Egypt and Syria.

Imagine what good out troops could do defending our own borders? The pure unfiltered evil coming from the southern border could be stopped completely in a short period of time. Drugs and weapons and terrorists coming in at the border? No more! Hell, then send them in to clean up the streets of Chicago and Baltimore and San Francisco.

Imagine how wonderful it could be if Americans were allowed to care about and care for America instead of being used as disposable units for the psychopathic, soulless elite to toy with.

The idea that muslims will go all out to protect an embassy filled with infidels it just lunacy. Get our men and women out of these muslim shit holes and just nuke them from space. Fuck this shit.

Muslims WILL NEVER bargain in good faith with non-muslims. It just won't fucking happen. 1,400 years of blood-soaked jihad proves this.

It's mostly Ugandans defending that particular embassy.

Careful. The DS has been trying to get us into a conflict with Iran for some time now and this will require a extremely close look.

6
McFatty7 6 points ago +7 / -1

Iran WANTS conflict, instability & a war because then oil prices will go back up, which eases the pain of those economic sanctions we placed on Iran. The sanctions are destroying their economy, and they can't take much more, hence the "lashing out" like a cornered animal.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +3 / -3

When you take a country that was relatively successful under the Pahlavis and turn it into an Islamo-Fascist state along with shitting on the allies of the previous government, what do you expect would happen? No one's entitled to trade with the US, and the sanctions that we placed are only relevant between the US and Iran. They are free to pursue trade relations with literally anyone else.

Bomb them on the way out, but let's get out of there. Let them fight it out, let it burn.

We should bring our resources to bear to build the USA into a shining beacon in the hill, the likes of which the world has never seen. Flying cars and fusion energy, space marines with lasers, satellite protection dome over the states, moon colonies and 150 year life expectancies... Imagine what we could do if we stopped fighting endless wars that don't benefit us, and turned our focus 100% inward once again. MAGA.

"After invading Iraq on false accusations of WMDs and spending trillions of dollars and losing thousands of American lives, the United States can’t even maintain an embassy in the heavily guarded Green Zone in Baghdad. This is an utter failure of epic proportions and a disgrace."

Isn't it amazing how mentally fucking deranged these people are?

In 2018, the United States imported about 9.94 million barrels per day (MMb/d) of petroleum from nearly 90 countries. Petroleum includes crude oil, hydrocarbon gas liquids, refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel, and biofuels including ethanol and biodiesel. Crude oil accounted for about 78% of U.S. gross petroleum imports in 2018, and non-crude oil petroleum accounted for about 22% of gross petroleum imports.

In 2018, the United States exported about 7.60 MMb/d of petroleum to about 190 countries and 4 U.S. territories, of which about 27% was crude oil and 73% was non-crude oil petroleum. The resulting net imports (imports minus exports) of petroleum were about 2.34 MMb/d.

The top five source countries of U.S. petroleum imports in 2018 were Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Iraq.
