LOL. My degree is Computer Science from 1985, and I've been in leadership roles for 25 years. I couldn't Code well enough to compete to today's market (ie. India Imported IT). I’m insulted that he thinks it’s that easy to land a job in software/it. I had to work really hard to get the front end web developer job that I had and then I had to learn new frameworks that used a subset of JavaScript, called Typescript. Everyday I learn something new.

I deal with India imported IT every day and I can tell you even project managers know more about coding then they do. Don't be so hard on yourself.
