Schools are forced to harbor violent, agressive students because enforcing existing disciplinary measures is now racist.

This amazing teacher tells the truth, in her epic resignation speech in front of school district officials. God bless all teachers like her.

Wow. Thanks for posting this. Courageous woman, sobering testimony.

Yes, even more sobering is that she’s describing 6th graders

my wife teaches first graders and can see it even then. Violent sociopath kids that the school does jack shit about, even after multiple instances hurting other kids and even teachers.

I work for the school district ,elementary school. It is horrible ,the kids have kicked ,bitten us, spit in our face, and we are not allowed to do anything. These children ,and there are at least 1 in every 3rd class, destroy the opportunity for the rest to learn in a safe environment. We clear whole classrooms almost every day with code reds. Many of these children growl, scream and become violent.

“It would be interesting to put the parents of these children in the classrooms and see how they interact with the other parents. I bet it would be nearly identical.”

The leftists gave us the ironic 'wont you please think of the children!' meme.. while they moan piteously about children in cages and drinking from toilets at the border they also kill children at planned parenthood, mutilate and maim children with the tranny gender nonsense, menace children with pedos in libraries while snipers on rooftops make sure that the attempted molestations are not shut down by furious parents.. and now they want to terrorise and attack peaceful happy schoolkids by throwing them in rooms with raging feral monsters that they arent allowed to be safe or escape from.

I back the position of POTUS on what to do with these scum and their malicious inclusion laws:

Home schooling.

Do some googling of your area or city name, and home schooling, and you will see it is widely done, works, coordinates with sports and trips to assist socialization, and is an option.

OK it's not for everyone. But it is a right, it is legal, and it is doable by ordinary people not professionals. And it is quite organized now; plenty of sources of help and guidance.

This is f*in crazy. Why are we being told we must endanger our children to make them more inclusive?

Some kids need Juvenal hall, or military school which should be drug treatment, psych meds[although the problem seems to be left-ism] and getting his GED and being prepared to live as an adult.

They really need a better system for dealing with these sorts of kids to get them out of the classrooms and stop them from ruining school for everyone else.

I’m tired of this. Stop reducing classrooms to the lowest common denominator. People that are a burden need to be removed from normal classrooms so that others can accel.

I was mainstreamed in high school due to a learning disability and some emotional problems due to frustration with some dyslexia helped me a lot but I can unfortunately say this OP is right had a violent guy in class every one was wary of

Kids that got medicated with Ritalin are no adults who can't regulate their emotions.

The left is doing the same thing with our communities and our country, not surprising.

This was exactly what led to the Parkland killings. That kid needed help and institutionalization. His behavior was let slide, and 17 died.

I am a witness to this. A student like this threatened me, and the administration didn't back me. I quit. Remember, teachers can sue for unsafe environments too....

And teachers who vote for Democrats enable this type of shit

I predict violence against teachers, teacher lawsuits against administrators, teacher walkouts, higher dropout rates, lower test scores, student walkouts, and ultimately a severe teacher shortage in the Left Coast. Prepare to reap the whirlwind.

Betsy Devos is useless. We still have common core. Nothing has changed. She needs to go ASAP. The only reason she has the job is because Trump needs her brother on his side.

Her incompetence is profound.

She isn't the issue behind Common Core. Each state is free to replace it at their own discretion.

This is not new. It has been getting progressively worse for many years. It was an occasional occurrence with the same few kids when my own children were in grades school 30 years ago. I began teaching at that point and witnessed a steady decline in the behavior of my students thru the 30 years I taught. By the time I retired from a NYC high school, the behavior was endemic. There were NEVER consequences and as a matter of fact, the trouble makers were put into special classes that were rewarded with their own computers, special lunches and snacks, tutors, counseling and other perks. Everyone wanted to be in those classes. This behavior occurs now as early as the first grade, disrupting and disorienting young children who are learning that acting out, cursing, throwing chairs, breaking things, etc. gets the perpetrator special time outs with books, toys, computers, snacks and so on. We reward bad behavior. We do it with politicians by reelecting them. We do it with criminals by plea bargaining, early release and low or no bail. We do it with society by allowing animals like Antifa to get away with owning our cities. Look at Portland. Society used to control bad behavior by condemning and punishing it. Now we reward and ignore it. Our kids are paying the price for our neglect. And their kids will pay a worse price. I don't know the answer but I do know this isn't working. If nothing else speak out. We all know what happens when Good Men do nothing.

No different than when I went. We had problem kids who had to have attention simply to keep them behaving.
