The largest deportation in American history started in 1954 and removed 1.4 million illegals in operation wetback

We are north of 22 million and no one is even talking MASS deportation. We need an operation that is 20x larger than the largest deportation operation ever. It’s not gonna happen. We need to hold every career politician accountable and physically remove them from office with an armed militia.

Because the People haven't risen up and marched on the street like the patriots in Hong Kong. We think just voting is enough.

You’re thinking of posse comitatus, but that doesn’t prevent the national guard from enforcing domestic policy as it does our military.

The other side of the coin is activist judges who use their power to wield temporary injunctions. I think this is the proper legal term.

The National Guard is in a Title 32/Reserve status, they are controlled by the states, not by the Federal Gvt.

Which is why they would be allowed to be occupy the border and enforce domestic policy, if I’m not mistaken.

I'd wager that would only apply to the National Guard units of a particular state. Florida can't send it's Guard units to patrol the Texas/Mexico border for example.

You're definitely not wrong.

Great point.

deploying the military on US soil is ILLEGAL unless we are under physical assault by a foreign power.

Like it or not, its just not that easy.

It isn't a "bullshit argument" when people bring up the restrictions that the Constitution places on deployment of the military. The Constitution grants Congress the authority to employ the military to repel invasion.

No government of Central America or Mexico has declared war on the US and is purposefully sending it's military across the US border in order to attack US civilians, etc. as far as can be seen. "Bad hombres" mixed in with the non-violent aren't the same thing as "an invasion", otherwise literally any country where a US citizen has committed a crime could claim that the US is "invading".

People keep being like "We got 100 miles built WOOOOOO"

I'm over here like, "Hey Geography professor, the borders like a couple thousand miles long"

because we got Mexico to deploy their army on their side, else we bankrupt them. with the level of corruption still remaining, deploying our troops to guard thousands of miles 24/7 would just be putting them in harm's way and still not actually fixing the problem.

We have sent troops (active) to our Southern Border.

that was in response to a specific assault. it would be tough to to much more of that given the agreements between the US and Mexico to keep people on the Mexico side of the border etc.... its complex, and sticky... unfortunately.

The President COULD build military bases on the border however...He just needs the money from Congress.

It's the difference between surgery and extended palliative care

The two are apples and oranges

I'm not condoning violence, but maybe some of the obstructionist losers need first hand knowledge how victims of illegal criminals who are repeatedly let go feel.
