The best part is, the Democrats in communication with Iranians officials probably exposed their plans lol

Herman Munster

I get that this is a joke, but I will not stand by and watch as my fellow patriots drag the good Munster name in the muck for cheap laughs.

Herman Munster was a hard working family man, and loyal husband, who loved his country. He was a WWII hero, for god sakes. He freed Europe from the Nazis.

Didn't he join The French Foreign Legion at one point?

To be honest I think they just took advantage of Carter’s general cowardice and inability to make a decision.

America was also war weary from Vietnam.

There was a Nightline back then, I think the day the hostages were released, and they had a black US Marine on the show (Iran had released blacks early, because of the discrimination they faced as Americans, LOL). He said that they could have held off the mobs, but were ordered to stand-down. I'm sure no one expected what became of the hostage situation (first time ever, I believe)...but yes, it was Carter's people telling Americans not to protect themselves. It was also noteworthy that they kept the interview embargoed until AFTER the 1980 election...as that Marine was released in the Spring of 1980.

Then they got the second tier tonight... aneaking out of town at 1 a.m. Two nights of checking off the list of those in command responsible of attacking our embassy.

To be fair though... Carter didn’t lose because the Iranians attempted to take over the embassy. Carter lost because he allowed it to go for over a year. He, like Obama, was an ineffectual President. Obama got lucky that he only had to face Romney...

Also the failed rescue attempt. Oh and Reagan's team putting together Iran-Contra deals, including Ollie North.

Carter himself was one of our worst Presidents (not THE worst). I really respect him for his work after being President, especially Habitat for Humanity.

The media hid the Iran crisis after the first few months and buried it completely during the general election. The economy was a mess, the crime rate included horrific serial killers, gas lines were present in cities and suburbs, and Ted Kennedy ran to Carter's left and Reagan to his right. The media kept saying it was too close to call until the votes were counted. Jimmy boy lost 44 states and should have lost more. The media did all they could, even then.

Barr just advised the pardons. If we're going to blow someone's reputation out of proportion, at least be able to back up the claims with something more substantial than dropping the name.
