Just like POTUS' regulation reduction act, whereby his agencies have to remove 2 regulations for every 1 they add, he needs to expand this, using the Judicial Branch to approve

For every law that is ignored 99% of the time, has to be immediately removed from the books and barred from being reinstated for the next 99 x 99 x 99 years

Hopefully that would light a fire under the FBI and DOJ to do their actual real job, instead of creating fakejob (going after citizens, creating crime, creating coup plots)

Because if they don't then they LOSE POWER FOREVER

I've wondered what would happen if we simply expired everything instated or added in the past 30 years or so. Give the country a re-boot.

Also it would hurt congress also, and keep them from passing stupid laws

It would also mean that congress can't pass laws that police are unwilling to enforce; because police may take the side of PEOPLE that they police and think that congressional laws that are dumb and harmful ought not be enforced

Checks and balances

But it also blocks stupid seagull management from corrupted politicians that want to try to abuse their power

People whose sole drive is to gain power should lose power forever regardless.

Not just "unenforced" laws need to be removed, but also unenforcEABLE and unconstitutional (looking at YOU, Virginia gun control) laws need to be removed.

I understand that Idaho's Congress must annually reexamine every law it passes and make a decision to either keep it, or let it lapse. Yep. If they do nothing, the law lapses! Keeps their lawmakers busy, out of trouble, and from passing just any damn stupid law on a whim -- who in the hell wants to have to keep revisiting whimsical stupidity every year?

I imagine laws regarding murder, rape, armed robbery, etc are exempt. Otherwise they'd have leftists trying to permanently install "new green deal" BS while removing all the violent crime statutes because . . . Leftism.
