This means only cheese made in Switzerland can be labeled Gruyere. It can't be made in any other country. I don't understand the image.

France also has a cheese called Gruyère, it is not the same one, there are holes in it and it doesn't taste the same. Even if the Swiss Cheese has its name protected, France can use this name too because their cheese has been around for centuries. https://i.imgur.com/HTeoNzT.jpg

I guess it's not a very efficient meme if it needs a explanation but I thought it was funny.
