Sorry, but there's a lot of shit about the US's military capabilities that we haven't told the civilian population. There's even more that the civilian population is just plain misinformed on. Hell, even most people in the US military don't understand the full picture, or really any picture outside their MOS. And that's how it's supposed to be. What we do to Iran will surprise everyone, Americans most of all. Americans have been told for decades now that a war with Iran would suck, that they have these capabilities to hurt us, that we'll take tons of casualties. That's what they said about the Gulf War. Hell, that's what our own military commanders thought would happen in that war. But we learned a lot since then. We also developed some absurdly powerful technology and weapons as well as strategies and tactics. Our military has had a hard-on for destroying the Iranian military for decades. They can do nothing to stop us.
