Well Virginia Beach is home to Naval Air Station Oceana so it’s a military town. And they have jets flying over the beach basically every day. Not sure when you visited but I’ve been there on vacation a couple times the past few years and it’s normal. Even stayed at that Hilton the first time and no discount because it’s just life there lol. I liked it, too.
