I predict that if there were no major injuries or fatalities that President Trump will probably go with other measures of retaliation, possibly economic. I also predict that if President Trump does not attack, all the liberals that say Trump is starting WWIII will then turn to saying, why didn't Trump attack. He's such a useless President. REEEEEEE!
Either way, I think this will be a very interesting few weeks ahead. President Trump is very good at not doing what is expected.
My guess is only if there are US casualties. No reason to escalate on our side and risk losing support of anti-Ayatollah forces inside Iran.

I’m old enough to have heard your exact statement in regards to Iraq and we’ve been there since the 90’s. Hope Trump isn’t planning on sticking around after the destruction. A hit a run is what I’d like to see.
I think President Trump will do his best to keep Troops out of Iran. Missile strikes and maybe some bombers, but I think he will try his best to "keep boots off the ground" as they say.
If he plans on decimating them and not supporting their rebuild from the aftermath then I’m ok with that. Otherwise we end up married to keeping the peace in yet another area of the Middle East.

There is no one better in the world to negotiate this. I think he is likely to take out economically significant targets first and attempt to destroy them economically. TBH I don't think POTUS has much of a taste for war but he won't sidestep this like others have done.

I think Trump will continue to prove that he will take every step necessary to ensure the best for the American people. It won't be simple, it won't be full out war. It also won't be passive or submissive. Calculated, well thought out steps to ensure the best outcome for us.
What do we have so far in recent news? The U.S. took out "the guy" with some bonus other guys with precision strikes. What has Iran responded with? They launched with roughly a 65% hit rate and killed no Americans. I think that was on purpose personally.
Don't forget folks... 4D chess.. that applies with dealing with the Middle East as well.
