I read a piece the other day that said his location was known at all times for the past 10+ years. He flew commercial into Baghdad, he was not traveling secretly. After Obama removed him from the travel ban and list of terrorists, he felt like he was untouchable. He was wrong.
I'd say it's the ones who leaked his location.
Either way, killing and arresting so many loyalists in order to find one or two people that may have tipped us off doesn’t bode well for long term loyalty.
