I think it is interesting to compare El Chapo to Epstein. Both were insanely rich, but El Chapo's arrest and trial were extremely publicized. Epstein was kept discrete. There's no footage of Epstein being frogmarched down courthouse steps in handcuffs. He was discreetly jailed and his accomplices, including his key child groomer Ghislaine Maxwell, are walking as freely as either of us.
The only way I think this is explainable is that Epstein was being protected while El Chapo made the fatal mistake of not having friends in high places in the U.S. government.

The July 22-23rd footage (his first 'suicide' attempt) got deleted not the footage surrounding his death on August 10th. This article even states the August 10th footage is currently being used as evidence against the guards who were suppose to be guarding him. They have footage of August 10th and it is not deleted!
A polite reminder that NASA erased and/or lost all the original footage of the Apollo moon landings, and destroyed the only machine that could play that footage. NASA also says it destroyed all the technology that got us to the moon and back six times. That's their line, not mine.
That was in the days of costly data storage. Data storage is cheap today and events like this would have legal mandates for preservation of evidence. This deletion is not a coincidence.
