Lots and lots of lulz. I mean, some of the funniest things I’ve ever seen/read in my life have been on T_D. I’ve learned a lot about a wide variety of topics. We have some losers in the ranks, but in general - there’s some pretty smart people on here with some very sharp insights into just about any topic you’re willing to bring up.

I’ve read some heartbreaking posts from people going through some terrible times in their lives. The courage of people staring death in the face is beyond amazing and inspiring to me.

I’ve seen birth announcements and posts celebrating other major life events like marriage, graduating, joining the military, and starting a new career.

There’s been anger, of course, but I think a little bit of anger can be expected when discussing politics. I’ve never seen any calls for violence. I have seen screenshots of posts with almost no upvotes being thrown around by lefties as evidence of rampant bigotry on T_D. That’s it, though.
