The main difference between Christianity and Judaism is that the Jews that followed Jesus believed that he was the Christ while the rest of the Jews did not Jews. Christianity has become very watered down over the years, and most Christians no longer follow most of the original Jewish religion.

First off, I presume that what you call "the original Jewish religion", Christians call "the old testament" (or rather the rules/laws and guidance set out for God's chosen people to follow as detailed in the Hebrew Bible which Christians regard as "the old testament". I'd hate for semantics to drag this out). If that is the case you really have no idea what you're talking about as the old testament scriptures are full of prophecies that the coming of Christ would satisfy the purpose of those historical practices of their religion originating from the same scripture and so moving away from these practices is not in any way a "watering down" of Christianity but rather building up Jesus [the] Christ's teachings and sacrifice as the foundations of Christianity.
As for those who did not accept Jesus to be the Messiah, There's a reason that the Christian Bible refers to "those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan". A prophecy all the way in Revelations fulfilled in the modern day as "jew" has become synonymous with Judaism, a twisted perversion of the original jewish religion that practically if not literally celebrates the sins defined by the original Hebrew Bible in their myriad of Rabbinical texts while they steal the name "jew" from its original designation as referring to the Tribe of Judah or later, the Israelites in general.
