You spelt Communist wrong. Nazi intellectuals were always sharply dressed. This guy looks like Sinead O'Connor as a scruffy 80's Socialist.

I always see Americans painting both Communists and Nazis as "Socialists" but really there's good reason that Hitler and Stalin didn't get along and it wasn't over that shithole Poland. The Nazis were Nationalist Socialist: the Communists were Internationalists. Socialism for one's own people versus imposed Communism upon everyone. Hence, the Anti-Commintern (Communist International) Pact that Germany, Japan, and Italy signed. While both ideologies were Collectivist in nature they were very different.

The difference between National Socialism and Communist international is one of motivation. To make any economy work you need to motivate workers, but this is a riddle for Collectivist ideologies. After all if the State is going to provide you with everything, why work? Humans work primarily for themselves (free enterprise), but also for their families (in-group preference). So Nationalist Socialism works by maximising the motivation of the in-group preference so as to include national identity (although this is really more accurately ethnic identity as 19th century European countries were formed upon ethnic identity). Communism can basically never work because the workers are not working for themselves, nor their families (ethnic group) and so need to be motivated at the proverbial point of a gun, hence Solzhenitsyn's experience of the arrest industry in Soviet society.

It's my belief that International Communist ambitions still exist in the world. Globalism is just the modern expression of the same ideals. This is why free travel and the breakdown of social institutions is promoted, while anything that promotes ethnic identity is buried or smeared.

Better! I'll take the small victories. I'm battling against multiple lifetimes of brainwashing and conditioning after all.
