You have a trial, you prove biden's corruption, which completely justifies all the dems *think* they have. You vote to acquit. There are not 20 republican senators that would vote to remove. The dems need 20 to get to 67 votes. There are actually dem senators that are not convinced they should vote to remove. The most likely scenario is 55-60 votes to acquit. The worst case scenario is 50-50. When the threshold is 67-33, 50-50 is a massive defeat.
Edit: McConnell also needs to make it just as unfair for the dems as it was for trump and republicans in the house. Remember, they didn't just screw trump in the house, they screwed the republicans.
