Isn't is a fair assumption that reddit (and other) admins are not to be trusted? Beyond that though, serious question. I think running through a VPN helps in most cases. Would you agree? I've been coding for 30 years but more on the "behind the firewall" side of things and internet security is not a forte.

That's pretty fair. I try not to go overboard, but I don't want to make it too easy for any retard I triggered to come after my company either.
