That state has asked to hold the criminal in order to return him to the originating jurisdiction. The possession charge wouldn’t earn an “additional hold”. Something happened in Polk county prior to this arrest.
Nope. Current charges are in Latah county. The hold was for Polk county. He committed a crime in Polk, didn’t show up for court and now has the hold placed upon him. This is the most common reason for a hold. Could also have been a federal crime, I don’t know.
