If the Democrats gain control of the Senate, you can bet your ass they will change the rule to a simple majority vote.

The Constitution cannot be changed by a simple majority vote in either or both houses. It requires 38 states to support it. That won't happen.

If there's one thing you can always count on Democrats to do, it's get around the Constitution. That's what they are doing with the Electoral College. They are bypassing it, right under our noses, and they're succeeding without much resistance.
