If they vote to remove, some say there may be no more elections. Jus sayin.

Hillbilly 17 points ago +17 / -0

If Trump is removed by the Senate, then it is literal war, and I mean that with no hyperbole whatsoever. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, will become Constitutionally-empowered insurgents overnight.

That's a fact.

If they remove the president the constitutional republic has ended and we are in a state of war until this despotic government has been removed and our rights under the constitution are restored.

inquimouse 17 points ago +17 / -0

Murkowski too.

4
fthecoup 4 points ago +4 / -0

I wonder if Murkowski and Collins will fall again for the last minute Democrat smear bullshit like the Kavanaugh hearing.

2
saco 2 points ago +2 / -0

Democrats will target them. They are the weakest links. Alaska needs to replace Murkowski. I think Collins is going to be the most conservative senator we are going to get out of Maine unfortunately.

OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Feinstein has something on Murkowski...

Fuck Graham! His whole purpose is to protect his McCain connections and get reelected. He is ALL talk and no action.

He holds one of the most powerful positions in Congress that could get to the bottom of everything.

He does nothing and talks a big game.

pararocket 14 points ago +14 / -0

They're showing weakness now. They have received the articles and haven't dismissed this immediately. They're waiting for nothing.

5
buco 5 points ago +5 / -0

I would rather see both sides giving their opening arguments, then vote to aquit. Done in a couple days and Trump is aquitted. Justice served.

Puncle 3 points ago +3 / -0

I believe that is an entirely poor course. Trump openly states such. He wants a trial and the Republicans want a trial, public, open. It is going to HURT them badly if they didn't wait. Now they can drag this out real nice and slow in a way that's very painful to Democrats. They can do exactly what the Democrats did and then some. They can call Democrats off the campaign trail including Biden, Bernie, and Warren, they can tear into Biden in a way they couldn't without the trial, they can work in and acquit loud and clear, not just some clear partisanship like the Democrats did but make it very obvious and blatant.

Trump isn't getting removed even by the swampiest of swamp Republicans. After 2018 they fell in line, unified, and realized this platform as the correct one to keep office. Career politicians will do what keeps them in office, and right now they are exclusively benefited by pushing Trump up.

1
fthecoup 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bullshit, Trump should have been acquitted by now.

1
Puncle 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump is openly saying he wants a trial.

Rand Paul also is saying he wants this dragged out into a real proper damaging system.

You don't understand how the game of politics is played if you want Trump acquitted this instant. He's already had the impeachment articles sent on him, why not use it as a weapon? Even fucking Mit Romney has stated he intends to vote against impeachment. Trump isn't getting booted, it's political suicide for a Republican to vote to impeach and they know it, but they can use it as a weapon. This is what McConnel is good at, procedure.

1
fthecoup 1 point ago +1 / -0

Openly wants a trial?????

Here is a Trump tweet from THIS MORNING:

“There is no crime here. Entertaining this Impeachment is a joke. This whole thing should be dismissed.” @IngrahamAngle @FoxNews

They are showing the strength of their hand against Donald Trump now that Articles have been.handed to the Senate. Both parties and the deep state are trying to figure out a way to protect themselves after they have impeached Trump out of office. Right now, there are too many beds that need feathering in their coalition of corruption and these incompetent assholes are bungling their way towards peasant revolts (that is us) against the technocratic police state they will replace our government with once Trump is gone.

Pence is likely still holding out to let the prez finish his first term.

12 crooked Republicans in the Senate can use the cudgel of impeachment to destroy the America First policies of Trump.

Not game-set-match, but pretty damn close.

RenaulV 13 points ago +13 / -0

Let's be honest, Lindsey Graham has only been pretending to support Trump to get Trump to trust him (after all, Graham was a big enemy of Trump's during the primaries). He's a backstabbing neocon globalist, probably blackmailed by the Zionists (hence his insane support of them). I hope Graham gets primaried hard.

In SC, he might have his house burned down if he votes the wrong way. He would never be reelected.

djmarcone 13 points ago +13 / -0

We were never in the mood for bullshit, but still aren't either.

If they let the coup come to a removal, we as Americans will take back our country. One f brick at a time. USA will not exist.

1
learntocode 1 point ago +1 / -0

They are going to come at all of us hard: full unmasking of Trump supporters and voters via Silicon Valley records (i.e. all our emails, social media, geolocation data, etc.); then there will be purges of places of employment and government offices; our children will be told to denounce anyone that supports/supported Trump or is anti-"social justice". While this happens, our infrastructure will collapse at 3x the current rate, all blamed on "white nationalist sabotage" (or something similar). We will have to be "saved" with huge foreign loans, outsourcing of everything, asset stripping our economy, and China will once again be our best friend in the whole wide world.

These motherf*(s play for keeps.

Covfefe_Crusader 9 points ago +9 / -0

Both of them should be removed, regardless.

7
RenaulV 7 points ago +7 / -0

Especially Graham

7
ramennov 7 points ago +7 / -0

I think they care less about re-election than they do about ensuring Trump doesn’t go apeshit against corruption in his second term.

2
TJac 2 points ago +3 / -1

They must protect themselves at all cost

Save up all your vacation days, sick days etc.

Prepare to take some time off work and march on DC.

Locals here are starting to connect and plan. Discussing primary candidates and recalls.

Without a plan we lose.

Trump has given up so much to fight for us and this country. Its time we fight for him.

The question is, does Graham have competition in the GOP?

2

Thankfully they are up for re-election- keeps them in line.

You have to wonder: when will there be a tragic brake failure on a bus load of anti-Trump Senators?

Lindsey Graham should already be voted out as a matter of fact. He already has betrayed us and the president on a zillion occasions. He promised to investigate the coup with russian and Ukrainian players and look at the ig report and he put it off for months and then didn't do it at all. He has been sitting in the judiciary Senate committee and had done literally jack shit at all to protect the fbi and cia. Fuck him

Pede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don't care, vote them out anyway. They've been there way too long and are 30 years out of touch.

1
SilentFreedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can we please just replace both of them? They have both been in office way too long. Also they will change with whatever administration is an office. They have no principles. They are only interested in self benefit.

Ain't no way these guys wanna lose their swamp gold. They'll navigate a way to let demoncrats find Trump guilty while they say, "We voted no!!!"

Bank on it.

No, the vote comes in the primary. It's RINO vs Pede. Then demolish the DemoncRATs.

11
RenaulV 11 points ago +11 / -0

No, we primary Lindsey. All his Israel-lobby shekels won't be enough to keep him in office if he betrays Trump.
