Work in a minerals mine in Ohio past 7 years, its been great ever since Trumps been elected. Record profits! Loved my job, got to do some awesome work at the face every day. Great fn benefits and my kids college funds were getting fat. Ive always been openly MAGA and my coworkers have loved it and ive never had problems.
But couple months back they hired this limp dick noodle armed kid on our site team. Young kid...needs to mentored by everyone...but lacked any motivation or hard work ethic. Hes big on climate change BS and gets visibly foamy at the mouth when I would bring up Trump at lunch.
So past week I come back from a break and find a fn Obongo/biden stick on my work bag. Of course all the guys get a laugh out of it and so do I. Tore that shit off and threw it in trash. I thought it was pretty hilarious. They wouldnt say who did it but im pretty sure it was Ryan (the cucked fag). So couple days ago I stuck a maga sticker on the back of his hard hat during work. He worked entire shift with maga gear on and we all got a good kick.
Today a couple hours ago I get called into the mine superintendents office and I knew something was up because HR was there as well. And those lazy mfers are never around. Next thing I know, i get hit with a bunch of harassment accusations and told I brought "politics" into the work place. They brought out the MAGA sticker and everything. I told them about the obongo sticker but didnt have proof and apparently...according to them...nobody was talking. I wanted to walk over to ask the guys but they wouldnt let me.
They announced that I would be docked pay and moved to third shift..forfeiting my veteran first shift status. I told them that no way would that work for me and with my kids school schedules. Told them that this was BS and I wanted to speak to the higher ups. Jerry the fn HR fag....was like "nope, lets just end this here. Security will escort you out...your terminated effective immediately".
I got lead to my car by fn security like i was a criminal and then they followed me out of the property. Im fn fuming pedes! I dont know what to do...at 40...theres not many mine production jobs out here. They offered no severance. Ive been drinking since I got home...
Its all cuz of that little needle dick democrat on our team. F them all pedes...never trust them! even my coworkers turned traitor apparently. Nobody is responding to my texts. fn BS!!!!!
Contact a lawyer. They fucked up and are hoping you don't challenge it.
First off quit drinking.Get a good nites sleep.See how it looks after coffee in the A.M. Then discuss your options with people you can trust,Do not go off half drunk.Just my opinion.

Keep a clear head, don't talk about it with anyone but a lawyer. I wouldn't even say anything to anyone regarding your job unless its coming from your lawyer (if they say you have a case). Maybe try a couple to make sure you're getting consistent advice. I would also probably delete this post. As much as it was an informative read, it could be used against you.

I don't know much about law if anything but this seems like an easy win. But in this job market I imagine you could find another well paying job and avoid yourself the hassle.

lawyer up buddy. same thing happened to me at GODADDY LLC. they fucked me over hard core. gave a 36k bonus i made to some muslim fuckstain. I have proof they were manipulating customer accounts and I was put on a paid admin leave for two weeks while they cleaned what they could. I still have the screenshots from the customer accounts. They violated the sarbanes oxley laws by manipulating cuatomer acounts to gain more Microsoft licenses to get a higher status for cheaper products on their side to charge their customers more. when I called them out I was fired. I am looking for a lawyer that wants to fight these fuckos now. had to cash out my very healthy 401k to survive with my wife and two kids at home. when I tried to call my previous co workers they are too much of cowards to say shit.
then two days after i was fired police were called on me. they tazed me and arrested me after i told them i wanted a lawyer. painted me to be some crazy man. then they tried to light my house on fire when i tried to get a lawyer to sue the police for police brutality. some old man fucker hit and run on my car then the cops wont do shit cause they say the damage wasnt over 2500. this is why people are going to start taking the law in thier own hands.

Edit: update pedes. was able to get in touch with a lawyer today during a snowstorm. He looked over my contract, and then said I didnt have much of a case due to no proof and the states "at will" employment law. Charged me $500 just to tell me that. dont know what to do...maybe will get a second opinion but hurting for cash rn.
Okay I have to agree with most of the post replies here... First my bet is those coworkers of yours are afraid they might loose their jobs some how if they back you. So don't be to mad at them...
Second stop drinking and think things through on what do to next...
Third get yourself a good Lawyer and see what they say? Maybe they can get that severance package back for you? And when things start to cool down contact those coworkers later that you think of as friends. Maybe go out for a beer or something fun but don't talk about work.
And finely at 40 it isn't bad, it only means you have experience in whatever it is you do. What about coal mining? Lots of jobs now thanks to Trump!
As for that kid it's just a bully who feeds on attention and take's pleasure in hurting other people. Sadly he still thinks he's in school not the real world yet.

tbh the coal mining thing has become an industrial joke...the whole industry is dead or dying. Its just much cheaper for plants to run natural gas now. The jobs are not there! half my old cooworkers were guys that had moved from WV to land a job here in Ohio

Yeah, there's more to this story than OP is letting on or maybe just not aware of. I would guess he's been in their sights for a while and he just gave them a reason to act.
Take what you wrote here and go to GOP office in largest population center around you. Ask them for job leads, quick. There is someone out there who needs you. And at least the pay you have been getting. Take printouts of this whole thread with you, too.
