You couldn't be more wrong. The Queen can veto ANY bill at ANY time from the House of Lords. She meets with the Prime Minister weekly, though his comings and goings are not documented.
She actually fired all of Australian Parliament in 1975.
"As established by the Constitution of Australia, the Parliament of Australia is composed of two houses, the House of Representatives and the Senate, together with the Queen. The monarch is represented through the Governor-General, who has executive powers granted in the Constitution,[1] as well as rarely exercised reserve powers.[2] The reserve powers are the legal authorities remaining in the Crown after most of its historic powers were transferred to Parliament or to officials. Under The Australian Constitution the Governor-General acts 'with the advice of the Federal Executive Council' in the appointment of government ministers[3]. "
Just because she doesn't do anything most of the time does not mean she is not still in charge.
Another case ion point. She owns 50% of the British coast and if anything washes up on the beach you actually have permission from the Crown to claim it.
This happened not that long ago, around 2012, when a whale washed up on one of the English beaches.
