This is part of how Peter Strzok gets poured out of court.
This particular detail is in a reply brief supporting a motion to dismiss Strozk's case. Strzok's case says he should not have been fired, and the texts should not have been released. He also said DOJ failed to tell him in writing who authorized release of the texts, and DOJ says Rosenstein did.
Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge is more interested in figuring out whether Rod Rosenstein is a bad guy, than the is in whether Peter Strzok will win his case (he won't).
