I’ve been in crowds of 25k and in crowds of 200k. I know there were closer to 200k. Hell, there were 25k in the govs little cage.

So they built a wall around the building AND tried to put people in a cage? How raycist of them.

It was more of a kill box. Frighteningly unsafe crowd control. They did want another Charlottesville.

Eh, if they really wanted one, they could've had one.

They didn't have the balls to pull it off. They were hoping for someone on Ritalin or any other big pharma drug to succumb to "suicidal thoughts or actions." Happily, that did not occur, but the stage was clearly set.

This is true. I freely admit that I was wrong in advising people not to "walk into a trap." But I am convinced that the trap was real, and only the overwhelming number of demonstrators convinced Adolf Northam to refrain from provoking violence.

The War of Northam Aggression is just getting started, I don’t think that bastard will back off.

"War of Northam Aggression" I see what you did there

No, he won't stop. It's who he is. He wanted violence to sway opinion enough so the gun control bills would pass with less outcry. He failed to pull it off.

Nonviolent resistance is predicated on spilling innocent blood, in its original form. Even if it is a trap, demonstrating the lethal intent of one's tyrannical government is an important step in establishing the moral and ethical basis for actual revolt.

Thankfully it did not happen.

So you need to therefore admit that you calling for people not to attend actually made violence more probable.

No, it was a trap, but not for the reasons people were saying. They're implementing all these laws and ratcheting up the rhetoric in the hopes that someone will do something stupid so they can use it as leverage come the election. the Charlottseville smear didn't work like they thought it would, so they're trying a different tactic.

The only numbers that matter are at the ballot box.

And the Va republicans just lost huge. All of those crazy ass lefty bills are going to be rammed through and there’s very little that can be done to prevent it.

Doesn’t matter how big any protest was.

Keep telling yourself that.

I agree. All of those 2A counties will not enforce any of the laws. They will become detached from the few areas that are going to remain part of Virginia. They will start passing local policies that are the opposite of Richmond. They will start keeping illegals for ICE. Watch Trump start holding rallies over there.

The cage number might be the one they're actually reporting. It'd be the one could reliably count too. It's not unthinkable that throughout the day 25k people entered that area.

Looked like a great gathering of voters.
