It's identity politics and thinking that generations aren't just a marketting ploy, they're I dunno, blueprints for how a 'whole generation' thinks. It's just more stupid group-think and tribalism from the Left. Same as thinking women or whites or gays or whatever all need to group together because they all 'share the aame experiences' and therefore think the same.
