I’m sorry, but I have to disagree. They aren’t hired to talk a good game, but rather represent the people who put them in the seat. These politicians have combined to be a single team working against the will of the people. They will say whatever is necessary to keep their position and Lindsey is no different. This is the man that wanted amnesty for millions of illegals after all. How does that ever happen if you work for your constituents?
This is part of the many problems that we have today. The senate was never meant to pander the it's constituents. That is the job of the house of representatives. The senate was meant to represent the individual states that appointed them. They're supposed to be the state's check against the federal government. If we are ever going to get back to a truly republican form of government the 17th amendment is one of the first things that needs to be repealed.
CONSISTENCY is what we need in our representatives. Lindsey does NOT have that. He's like this when it's convenient and easy to get people to think he's a full on Trump supporter.
