i have been harping on birth tourism for years....chinese on the west coast, and russians on the east coast, specifically florida. i'm so glad we're doing something about this. every year a new batch of foreign nationals turn 18 and come here, without background checks, to claim their "birthright."

They need to change birth citizenship to the baby gets the same citizenship as the mother. If you have a tourist visa so does the baby. If your here illegal so is the baby. If you are a permanent resident same with baby. Ect ect. I think that would be perfectly fair.

She is the child of two foreign post grad foreign students. Birthright citizenship should only be available to the child(ren) of natural born U.S. citizen.
