Human beings have the ultimate answers to climate change: feet and contracts.

The earth has warming and cooling cycles, as well as wet and dry cycles. These cycles are l-o-o-o-o-ng compared to human lifetimes. People can use their feet to move to more enjoyable climates. That is what the Pueblo Indians did, when the Southwest became the Desert Southwest.

Contracts are a relatively new invention, and a wonderful antidote to climate change. People use contracts to get help to move, to buy and sell land, and to buy and sell food. All of these things give us the flexibility to cope with all kinds of revolting developments.
