As vile as they are and as much as they have to go the real corruption lies in the SES where career civil servants run everything. They stand between the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch pulling strings, slowing down when they want, accelerating when they choose. They plant evidence, direct investigations, get paid over 200k and there are thousands of them.

Immediate prosecution for law breakers. Not endless investigation and book deals.
