Life Pro Tip everyone for this kind of outbreak.

Do what medical professionals do themselves.

Wash your hands after every potential for contamination and even then do not touch any opening of your body with bare hands. Eyes, ears, nose and all the ones down below.

They use napkins, tissues and anything else that is one time use disposable.

That leftist looking barista glared at you while handing you your coffee, you saw it poured but her hands touched your paper cup... drink it there and then go wash your hands up to the wrists, using a paper towel or your sleeve to open the door.

Microbes are easy to wash away and be safe, as long as you remember that each time you don't know what you touched, you wash and use new disposable towels to exit the area.

Air dryers? Physicians and Nurses avoid them like the plague, same with alcohol containing hand sanitizers, you are killing off the weak microbes and spreading around the ones that are resistant. Not. Good. Ask your Doctor.

Sound practices, they make good sense to me. Thanks!

Word. When I went through 3 mos of chemo one winter, I did 3 things--washed hands as soon as I came in the door from being in town; used antibacterial wipes on grocery cart handles (well before it was a thing), and used my own pen for signing receipts at stores. I didn't get sick w/ anything else during those 3 mos.

Gas pumps....use something to cover the handle...never touch a gas pump handle.

When the MRSA outbreak was in full swing the most contaminated surfaces were gas pump handles, store door handles, shppping carts, etc.

Wash your hands and you get rid of most microbes.

Good call on the gas pumps! I hadn't though of that one. Makes a lot of sense, especially in warmer months. Imagine what is on those keypads... ewwwww.
