Slow Drip Demoralization and Propaganda Did this
Look around you. The american left is proving that "the Big Lie" is an effective tool in swaying public opinion towards falsities. It's an effective tool to win over people's hearts and minds, despite the facts, irrespective of how widely availalble they are (they have the same Internet we have,. which is a level playing field)
The US left. RIGHT NOW. Is looking almost identical to the pre-nazi german underclass. Disenfranchised by Industry and anarchocorporatists, while being fed--inundated by magical thinking, occultism in the context of an ever-increasing Godlessnesss, Atheism, nihilism--at the time of the early 1910s germany, because of the dark german philosophers.....today in America, because of NETFLIX and growing anti-Christian, anti-FAMILY (attack the father via feminism) sentiment
Look around you
The left is the pre Nazi party. They have all the same behaviors. We've reached "Peak Projection" in the "Party of Projection" when they call Trump supporters "Fascists"
IN fact they don't even know what that means, because if they did and if they were honest, they'd realize that THEY are the fascista
The party of the CIA
Useful idiots, tools, mouthpieces and parrots of the mainstream CIA run mockingbird media talking points and narratives; fulfilling the overall strategy of the perennial war complex and globalism generally--leading to a vast, technomanaged, cybersteered, low information, low choice, opportunity-limited, technoneofeudalist underclass in a unipolar government simulation of reality (Orwellianism)
It's a death cult
The left keeps saying we have to do as they say or we'll commit genocide. It reaches a point where you'd prefer genocide to doing as they say.
Yesh, we know.
They have become the thing they think they fight.
I know “Nazi” is a buzzword, but you literally don’t even need to correlate the two. The left is communist, and nazism is a dwarf in the shadow of communism and the scourge its plagued on man. Nazi is only the hot word because of the victim it chose and the overwhelming publicity it continues to get.
Totalitarian is the bridge the specific "ism" used to get there is less important.
The argument that Progressives, and those to the left of Progressives, share socialist ideals with the Nazis, is pretty correct but your blanket admonition is a bit hyperbolic.
The socialist revolution never happened in the United States. Probably because the working class looked around and realized that their lives under capitalism really weren't that bad compared to under-industrialized countries and third world shitholes.
Having failed at violent revolution, the Marxists reconceived their mission and infiltrated the institutions of the West - The social, academic and political.
Rebranded now as 'Social Democrats' they seek to demoralize the West to a degree that the populace will vote themselves into socialism democratically.
The closest comparison with the modern Progressive Left and Nazis, imo, are the Hegelites who believe that violence is justified to obtain political ends.
These are the Antifa faggots.
Perhaps some blood will be spilled. But we'll be fine.
Socialists gonna socialist.
Really good propaganda. I'm looking at you Hollywood cucks.
Whoa, easy there. It's really offensive to compare Nazi's to American Leftist.
Well the face of the "Alt-Right", Richard Spencer, is actually a Bernie bro so it makes sense to me. The only difference between his views and the views of the average leftist is whether or not their ideology should be forced down the nation's throat or down the gullet of the world.
Richard Spencer isn't "Alt-Right". Richard Spencer is a white nationalist bigot.
And if you research white nationalism in America you'll find that most of them are also national socialists. Just like Hitler.
The "Alt-Right" is actually the political movement of liberals, libertarians, centrists, and conservatives who rose up against the Republican RINO establishment DC uniparty.
The Alt-Right gave us Trump. And the first thing the Left did after the election was to full on gaslight the term "Alt-Right" into a racial pejorative.
Noam Chomsky would be proud.
Once Luther nailed his paper to the door, people went way overboard. He wanted to change only a few things. But they went crazy and ended up questioning whether boinking babies was bad several generations later.
Found the Alexander Anderson.
I just find it hilarious that they spewed vitriol at the CIA and FBI for decades, and suddenly now these organizations can do no wrong in their eyes.
Another American (I'm assuming) that doesn't understand Fascism...
The first thing to know is this: how you vote - that is - your politics, is determined by your personality. And your personality is extremely heritable from your parents. Culture is the flower, biology is the root. (Democrats understand this, that's why they're so keen to replace you with Latinos).
So, how did Germany turn Fascist? Well, their personalities didn't change, so their politics didn't change. That's the key to understanding what happened. They didn't get really really angry and suddenly become far-right in their politics. Fascism, despite what the lying press tells you, is NOT a Far-Right position. Nor is it a Far-Left position. It is not socialism as a pathway to communism. It is socialism with a (mostly) free-market economy, individual freedoms, private property and moralistic constitution. This combination of Far-Left and Right positions makes it a broadly Centrist position.
When the NSDAP seized power, lots of people were angry and afraid, but they weren't organised. The magic/danger of Fascism is that it works a lot like democracy, except without the voting. Day to day life doesn't change. You get up, and go to work as normal. So the anger and fear dissipated rapidly in Germany as conditions improved. The majority of people really don't care who's ruling over them as long they have personal freedoms and the trains run on time. Poltiically, the majority of people are centrists. The resistance that did organise (Far-Left and right) was quickly detected and dissolved by the Gestapo. The Gestapo of course, were simply the old German State Police who returned to duty and were sworn in with a new set of objectives (not the sadistic vampirish villains of Hollywood). The Brownshirts maintained order so the trained police were moved to an investigative function.
The post-WWII powers fear Fascism.. It is an existential threat to the political structures that maintain the class divisions they enjoy. The footage of cheering crowds is genuine. They weren't compelled to be there. Mussolini's State Police only made 6000 arrests in their entire existence. The fear of fascism is why the crimes of the Nazis are always conflated with fascism, instead of the experiences of Spain, Italy and Chile. It's why the definition is never made clear to people. They want people in the dark about fascism because in the right circumstances any Western nation could potentially flip that way.
Anyway, the point being, the Dems are not Fascists because they're not Centrists. They're Communists.
Edit: confused Argentina with Chile.
As an American to a German, or at least a European (based on the usage of pronouns in your comment), thank you for your insight.
In the spirit of conversation rather than disagreement, do you have any thoughts on this video about Nazism?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7jlTYSeHWA
It's a lengthy watch, but the central point is that the special secret ingredient of Nazism is a proud, downtrodden population who willfully submits to their authoritarian leader in support of the collective national good.
The term 'Nazi' gets thrown around so much today in American lexicon that it has become essentially meaningless.
An honest discussion about what Nazism really was might be useful.
This is word salad. Communism is an international collectivist form of government around planned economies. Fascism is a nationalist collectivist form of government that permits a mostly free economy. Both of them grew out of the realisation that the democratic model wasn't actually giving the people power and instead was reinforcing the class divisions that existed in the eras of European monarchies. They are, however, significantly different forms of government. Under Fascism, the worker is motivated to help his family and has the freedom to employ his skills appropriately, while in a Communist state the worker is just a drone and must be compelled to work through force. This is why Soviet Russia and Mao's China killed so many of their own. While Hitler targeted Jews, Gypsies and undesirables; Mussolini's secret police only made 6000 arrests of antifascist agents, and these were shipped off to poor Mediterranean islands until they self-deported.
You say fascistic, but what you appear to mean is Authoritarian. There's a red pill in learning the definition fascism and why it's not taught in schools and obfuscated in our media.
I fear we are all going to be walking along, paying no real attention to where we are going, so engrossed we are in debating with each other the finer nuances of the definitions of "Nazi", "Fascist", "Communist", "Socialist", "Marxist" et. al. When suddenly we'll stop, startled and looking around in confusion. Then we'll begin asking each other, "What? How'd this happen? How'd we end up in this gigantic pen surrounded by razor wire?! And what's that suffocating, smoky stench pouring out of those buildings over there?!"
And THEN we'll debate whether we're in a "prison camp", a "death camp", a "concentration camp" or a "gulag". And we won't STFU until they shove us into the ovens.
