You are correct. At least with flu or cold anyone can see when the person is most contagious because they physically have symptoms. Someone acts and looks unwell move away fast. With this the person looks fine and might be contaminating everything they touch.

Numbers for sure. High density living conditions don’t help either. It will be 10’s of millions infected and 10’s of thousands of deaths.
This was my line of thinking too until you compare the lethality of it.
