Time passes and the Commies go "Out of Business" so maybe now we can start to dismantle the Beast and get back to Freedom and obeying the Constitution. Nope. Business as usual and it gets even MORE crazy. We find out a few things but nobody's paying attention because "Fuck It! We just won the Gulf War and feel really good and the Communists are gone so let's party party party for the 90's".
Then 9/11 hit and everything went to shit. We literally gave the Government the power to do almost anything it wanted and guess what....they did.
