the richest FAMILIES in america are republican but statistically democrats have the republicans beat. probably because they've accounted for most of the US government and it treats its own workers well, and Universties pay their profs and officers outrageous salaries
Didn't read the source but I know that Republicans win in every tax positive income bracket. Technically if you create a super high bracket, Democrats do win that one.
I imagine income has more interesting causation than wealth anyway
