So this is a serious question. I feel like I dont understand something on this impeachment. Why are the Democrats screaming for witnesses, didnt they have their shit already in the house? Why didnt they call people like Lev Parnas why they had their chance? I understand much of it is to embarrass the president and make him look uncooperative but in a serious question why didnt they call all these people when they were in control?

the democrat majority in the house had no legal authority to supoena because they never voted to establish it. Any witness "requested" had no legal requirement to show up. Those that did show up for the democrat's impeachment inquiry were friendly to the fraud filled democrat narrative. Designed to fail, this process is a FEATURE of their continued and relentless assault on the Presidency through the complicit media and their engineered narrative, all intended to damage their political opponent, our duly elected President.

I think all the other answers here are good. More fuel... I think the Democrats are just going to bitch and scream until they are replaced. Think back over the past 3 years with the Russian / Mueller hoax, the Bret Kavanaugh circus, and now the Ukraine / impeachment circus. They just want to disrupt. At this point, I think they don’t even like themselves. Its just gotten to be continue throwing the tantrum because in 9 months, they are out of a job.
They just need to drag it out as long as possible. It’s their tactic to troll him through the mud while running out the clock. There isn’t any true expectation of removal, but they will do everything they can to damage him with the process.
And, Feinstein bullies Murkowski for some reason. So, they figured her for cooperation, and it looks like they might be right. Her problem is she will get no money from the Party if she doesn't march with the drummer... McTurtle.
Just like with the remainers in the UK, the Democrats are going to make us crush them.
They made the choice to put the country through as much suffering as they could (not that much, really, because they are weak pussies) rather than accept electoral defeat and try again in 4 years.
