If Bernie is the guy, the party will close ranks around him, and do everything in their power to get him into office and implement his agenda. If Jeffrey Dahmer had a D next to his name, Democrats would crawl over broken glass to vote for him. These people have no principles whatsoever. And that is before you factor in the fact that it is Democrats who count the votes, and oversee the counting of the votes. We are in a fight for our lives here. The enemy is ruthless, angry, and HATES us.
If it is Bernie, they will lose the centrist who would vote for Joe. The raging idiots with TDS will vote for Bernie, the rest will not. I lurk on Democratic Underground to see what the left is in a rage about today and they are really really split over this. We don't let up but Bernie will never get the centrist voters.

I was talking to someone I know this morning who has been a card carrying member since the 60's and he hates Trump. Even he admitted there are no viable candidates and that he would default to Joe Biden or pray to God a 3rd party enters the race.
If my friend knows this then they know this. Given that Biden isn't qualified or capable of POTUS because he's not even capable or a decent campaign, I think we will see Hillary jump in late at the last minute.
Unfortunately, we have a bunch of bernouts within our ranks who I suspect would turncoat again if given the chance to vote for Bernie.

This might be the time, it's only EIGHT months to the election, to find out how to become a poll watcher, and an election official who signs people in to vote. Do that thing. Poll watch. Everybody at the polls shouldn't be from one party.
Volunteer to phone-bank and distribute flyers, at the local Republican office, no matter what you think of them. There is no use leaving them in lonely splendor to do what they want. Be there. Be crisply dressed and nice.
Organize and plan to get your elderly or bored friends and relatives to the polls. That might involve waking them up very early, and driving them there, with the promise of pizza afterward.
Know in advance where the polls are and the hours.
Of course employers will give paid time to vote. Maybe the whole day. Nobody wants a socialist president less than an employer.
Complacency means death, if people think they can just sit home and not worry about it we will lose everything. The democrats thought the same thing in 2016 and they paid big for it, we need every last eligible voter to get their ass to the booth.

Some people say that Pelosi is actually smart but I've seen nothing to indicate that she can even finish a sentence half the time let alone leverage one thing to produce another result. Unless they plan on planting their pick as his VP, and then knocking bernie off, he'll never be nominated. Shrilary owns the DNC, anyway, so no way. Trump has 3 times the number of black voters he needs to beat the dems, plus he has support from Latinos, evangelicals, and the whole country except for the coasts. He's got this.
We know he won't cruise to re-election, but if they put Bernie up it's a foregone conclusion. That's not the same as saying there won't be a fight or that it won't be brutal, just that in the end there's only one way that fight ends.

If OP believes these people exist in considerable number, and that perspective is relatively absent in the greater population, we can only surmise that OP must get that idea from his social group.
I advised OP to expand his social circle in order to get a more balanced perspective. Doing so would also have the additional benefit of lessening OP’s anxiety.

I agree, while I whole heartedly believe that President Trump will win 2020 in a landslide I also firmly believe that the Democrats will do everything they can to win so I agree that we Trump Supporters have to do all we can to put the icing on the cake and put President Trump back in office for 4 More Years. Every vote counts and the President will need all the votes he can get to over ride the Democrats voter fraud. So let's not get complacent and let's vote for President Trump & let's give President Trump a Solid Majority in the House & Senate.
