Every defendant should be entitled the right to question the accuser. This is how the justice system works. So a United States president cannot question his accuser. If this were the case, then his political opposition will be able to frame a president with false accusations whenever they don’t like him. If the accuser cannot be questioned, then he cannot be put under oath to testify that he is truthful. This is not how the US constitution is supposed to work.
I completely agree. The Senate needs to step in and hold these people accountable for the coup they are trying to execute.
