The way this story should have played out was "Today the doors to Hillary's Clinton's house were busted down and she was forcibly arrested for running from a lawsuit. She is now in jail for being a total fucking dickface."
Right? Realistically don't lawsuits just continue on and if the other person doesn't show up to defend themselves, they just lose? (Assuming the plantiff presented evidence)
If someone in your organization (HC) was about to go to prison for crimes against America and her assets seized. Wouldn't it make sense to have someone else within the same party sue for all they are worth for various strategic reasons.

Since when do you need both parties to accept terms of a lawsuit in order for it to go to court? I thought nobody was above the law.
