I like reading about us and how we are real people and not cartoon mustachioed villains and the simplistic RW caricatures the media always tries to make us out to be. Life is complicated and more so when/if you're intelligent (I think!) and stuff. In the face of fucking memes and the shortening of our attention spans, I am all for** people reaching out and connecting in meaningful, positive ways. Not limited to people inside the same political ideology. Etc etc.
