They thieve & scheme against each other endlessly to survive. The worst part though, is everyone does it with this saccharine facade of "we're tough New Yorkers but we all help each other get it done". Such fakes!
The best parts of the city have almost all been Trump somehow making it work over the years. Wollman rink, TV city, the best hotels throughout Manhattan, various parks and little venues. All the good stuff...because of one man standing hard against wave after wave of scheming disphits. And now he's doing the nation. It's unbelievable really.
