Look at this dashboard. You see how there are 443 recoveries but 305 deaths? Well 3-4 days ago it was only like 50 recoveries. The recoveries are increasing exponentially, and the deaths are only increasing logarithmic. That means the recoveries are a god damn flash flood, and the deaths are a trickle. It also means the recoveries are getting faster, and the deaths are getting slower. This means its a nothing burger. You can click on certain provinces in China and see that some of them have 500 infections, ZERO deaths, and lots of recoveries. If you're one of those people who thinks you shouldn't trust China's data, then don't, click on other countries and see the recovery vs death rate. Are you also going to say that Japan, South Korea, India, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia are all also lying and hiding things? It's a nothing burger. You can speculate all day about what the origin of the virus is, whether from a lab or a bat or whatever god forsaken habits the Chinese have. Its not going to kill you anymore likely than the flu. Its actually much LESS likely to kill you than the flu because everyone who is worried they have it is being quarantined in every fucking country with a running plumbing system.
As for the "HIV edits", there are certain properties about HIV that scientists use to genetically modify to cure diseases. We use HIV to cure people of other things. You think that's crazy? I don't, I think that's the brilliance of the human mind. Yes, they literally take HIV and change it to see what they can do with it. I think its fine to argue over the morality of that, but trying to claim some airborne HIV virus is spreading a pandemic is retarded. Journalists do that to sell click and raise your stress levels.
